The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mangano sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mangano swinging wildly here.
Hughes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hughes.
Hughes throws a solid leg kick but Mangano takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hughes.
Mangano thows a body shot but no joy.
Herbert Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mangano takes a kick to the side of the head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hughes is defended easily by Mangano.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hughes.
Mangano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hughes has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hughes tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Mangano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hughes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Mangano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hughes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hughes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hughes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mangano circles away.

and Mangano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mangano lands with a hook. Hughes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hughes tries to land a front kick but Mangano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Mangano lands a nice shot to the body.

Hughes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Mangano stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hughes.
Hughes throws out a loose jab but Mangano uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mangano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mangano connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hughes's hands.
Mangano lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hughes at a distance.
Mangano swings for the body but Hughes moves out of range.
Hughes throws out a leg kick but Mangano moves out of range and Hughes only half commits.
Hughes wants to slow Mangano down by chopping away at his legs.

and Mangano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hughes is rocked!
Mangano Throws a clean left jab. Mangano Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Hughes's chin! Hughes crumbles to the ground and Mangano follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Mangano!
