Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Myles Makdessi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cam Kran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myles Makdessi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cam Kran's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Myles Makdessi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cam Kran! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makdessi dives in and grabs Kran's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kran pushes down on Makdessi's head and hops out. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kran. Makdessi leaves Kran with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kran shoots in for a takedown but Makdessi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Myles Makdessi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cam Kran. Makdessi shoots in for a takedown but Kran shows good takedown defense. Makdessi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Cam Kran has been cut. Makdessi feints and as Kran raises his hands in defense, Makdessi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Makdessi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kran swivels though and keeps the full guard. Makdessi wants to control from the top but Kran keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kran not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makdessi stays in close to Kran's body and controls the position. Kran looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Makdessi sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kran keeping full guard, as Makdessi tries to pass. Makdessi trying to control the position from guard on top but Kran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Makdessi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Myles Makdessi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Makdessi shoots in for a takedown but Kran shows good takedown defense. Kran misses with a takedown and Makdessi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kran's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Makdessi passes into half guard. Makdessi content to control rather than advance. Kran trying to control but Makdessi postures up.
Makdessi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kran works his way to full guard. Good work. Makdessi stopping the sweep attempt from Kran. Makdessi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kran wants to sweep here but Makdessi controlling him for the moment. Makdessi wants to pass the guard but Kran is keeping the position. Makdessi stopping the sweep attempt from Kran.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kran is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Makdessi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kran is trying to control the position but Makdessi postures up. Makdessi trying to control but Kran is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Myles Makdessi wasn't doing enough on the ground. Makdessi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Makdessi slows the pace down in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Myles Makdessi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cam Kran's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kran shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Makdessi counters with a series of strikes. Kran will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kran is rocked! Makdessi lands a huge takedown. Kran is out but the ref is slow to react and Makdessi lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Kran lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Myles Makdessi! A less than humble Myles Makdessi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
