Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Praegitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaare Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kaare Pedersen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Praegitzer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pedersen pinned against the cage. Pedersen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pedersen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Praegitzer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Praegitzer trying to control but Pedersen is working from the bottom. Pedersen looking for a guillotine here but Praegitzer defends easily.
Pedersen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Praegitzer wants to control from the top but Pedersen keeps moving. Pedersen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Praegitzer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Praegitzer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Praegitzer wants to control from the top but Pedersen keeps moving. Praegitzer wants to pass the guard but Pedersen is keeping the position. Praegitzer is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Praegitzer controls from within his opponent's guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pedersen misses with a takedown attempt and Praegitzer counters with a single leg into guard. Pedersen didn't expect that. Pedersen keeping moving, preventing Praegitzer from controlling successfully. Pedersen controls Praegitzer momentarily but Praegitzer frees himself. Praegitzer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pedersen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Praegitzer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pedersen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Praegitzer's back instead. A lull in the action here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Praegitzer tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Praegitzer tries to reverse the position but Pedersen maintains control. Praegitzer wants to control but Pedersen is having none of it. Praegitzer is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pedersen throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Praegitzer tries to lock up and control but Pedersen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Praegitzer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Praegitzer is squirming around, avoiding Pedersen's attempts to control the action. Pedersen looks gassed! Pedersen controlling from the full mount. Pedersen is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Praegitzer wants to control but Pedersen is having none of it. Praegitzer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Pedersen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Praegitzer hang on? Praegitzer can't escape the position.
Praegitzer regains half guard. Praegitzer wants to control but Pedersen is keeping busy.
Pedersen wants to control but Praegitzer is keeping him busy. Praegitzer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Praegitzer is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Pedersen tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pedersen wants to take a breather but Praegitzer is having none of it. Praegitzer is in trouble now - Pedersen has advanced to mount! Pedersen is looking to stand but Pedersen has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Pedersen prevents Praegitzer from getting the reversal. Praegitzer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Praegitzer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Praegitzer wants to control but Pedersen is having none of it. Praegitzer tries to reverse the position but Pedersen maintains control. The referee warns Praegitzer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Praegitzer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Praegitzer misses with a takedown and Pedersen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pedersen won't allow Praegitzer to sweep him here. Pedersen wants to pass the guard but Praegitzer is keeping the position. Praegitzer looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Praegitzer keeping moving, preventing Pedersen from controlling successfully. Praegitzer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Praegitzer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Praegitzer trying to control the action but Pedersen is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pedersen is trying to maintain the position but Praegitzer is very close to passing his half guard. Pedersen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Praegitzer moves into full mount! Pedersen won't be happy about that! Pedersen is controlling an arm, preventing Praegitzer from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Praegitzer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pedersen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Pedersen has left one of his arms exposed and Praegitzer doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pedersen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
