Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Suliman Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
29 - 44 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaromir Jag!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jag avoids the body shot from Kane.
Kane misses with a two punch combination.
Jag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kane fails to land with a series of punches.
Jag tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kane on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jag looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jag told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Jag has Kane pressed against the cage, preventing Kane from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

and Kane counters with a two punch combo.

Kane lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Kane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jag tries to clinch there but Kane circles away.
Jag takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jag is rocked!
Kane scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jag doesn't seem bothered though.
Jag is still on wobbly legs! Can Kane finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jag tries to clinch but Kane moves away
and Kane counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jag circles away quickly and effectively.
Jag wants to clinch up but Kane keeps it at a distance.
Jag seems to have recovered his senses.
Jag bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kane's head.
Jag tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kane misses with a body shot.
Jag tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jag is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jag moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Kane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jag has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jag looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jag wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kane has him pressed against the cage.
Kane content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Jag misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kane.
Jag stalls.
Kane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kane comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jag misses with a double jab.
Jag tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kane counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jag throws a sloppy head kick and Kane moves out of range easily.
Jag tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Suliman Kane dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jag throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Suliman Kane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kane thuds his right hand into Jag's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jag ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jag tries to clinch but Kane is having none of it.

and Kane counters with a left to the body.
Jag tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jag misses with a head kick.
Kane swats away the attempt to clinch by Jag.
Jag wants to clinch.
Kane thows a body shot but no joy.
Jag closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kane counters with a stiff right hand.

Kane works over Jag's head and body with a nice combination.
Jag closes the distance but Kane moves to the side
and Kane counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Jag! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Kane!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Suliman Kane!
