Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipezoom Insano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richie McCaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Insano's entrance music is . A fine choice. McCaw has chosen Seeing Things as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Richie McCaw was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Felipezoom Insano!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richie McCaw!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Insano misses with a hook
and McCaw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Insano throws a lazy uppercut
and McCaw counters with a nice uppercut.

Insano gets caught napping as McCaw dives in and scores a takedown. Insano manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
McCaw is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Insano utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

McCaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Insano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

My spies in Round Table Elite inform me that McCaw has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Insano can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McCaw controls the pace.

Insano has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

McCaw looking to sit in guard and control but Insano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Insano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McCaw looking to hit a scissor sweep but Insano is one step ahead there.

McCaw is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCaw wants to sweep but no luck.

McCaw has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Insano should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McCaw has tightened it up now! Insano should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

An out of breath and clearly excited Richie McCaw thanked Pirates Powder for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
Felipezoom Insano was interviewed post fight and said 'As always I can do everything through Christ my lord and savior who strengthens me. Without him I wouldn't be here tonight. Don't worry I'll be back. We'll get em' next time'.
