Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Dorris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jp Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Icarus by Hopesfall. Chuck Dorris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Dorris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Jp Benn! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dorris dips to his left and cracks Benn with an uppercut! Benn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dorris but Dorris pushes him off and we're back to square one. Benn shoots for a double leg takedown but Dorris sprawls well. He's pushed Benn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dorris uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Benn has time to react. Dorris shoots in and bounces Benn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dorris's corner is telling him to maintain position. Benn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Benn looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dorris has picked Benn up and slammed him! Benn can't keep hold of the triangle and Dorris manages to pass to side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dorris wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Benn managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dorris.
Dorris moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benn is trying to improve his position. Benn tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dorris easily slips into full mount! Benn tries to reverse the position but Dorris maintains control. Benn regains half guard. Benn wants to get back to full guard. Dorris is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, if Dorris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dorris prevents Benn from improving his position. Dorris content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Chuck Dorris has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dorris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Benn is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dorris is defending well. Chuck Dorris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jp Benn. Dorris is trying to break free. Benn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dorris is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Benn is trying to pull guard but Dorris has him pressed against the cage. Dorris trying to land knees to the body.
Dorris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Benn takes one on the button. The crowd cheers as Dorris lands an impressive looking overhand right. Benn doesn't seem phased though. Benn tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dorris defends well and Benn ends up having to push Dorris into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Benn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dorris avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Benn keeps control of Dorris as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dorris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dorris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Benn manages to avoid it. Dorris lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Dorris lands a nice looking body shot.
Dorris misses with a two punch combination.
Dorris punishes Benn's body with a nice straight punch. Dorris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Benn doesn't seem bothered though. Nice sprawl there from Benn as Dorris shoots in. Dorris looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dorris preventing the sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Benn trying to control the position.
Benn is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Dorris dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Dorris paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dorris misses with a body shot.
Benn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dorris as he avoids it easily. Dorris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chuck Dorris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dorris feints and as Benn raises his hands in defense, Dorris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Benn doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Benn working for a triangle but Dorris defends it easily.
Benn throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dorris escapes and throws Benn's legs to the side, diving into side control! Dorris just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorris tries to move to mount but Benn blocks the move with his legs. Dorris controls the position. Dorris trying to control the position but Benn is working away. Benn can't do much from the bottom here. Dorris taking a breather here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dorris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Benn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dorris somewhat. Dorris throws the left hand but Benn avoids the punch easily. Dorris dives in and grabs Benn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Benn pushes down on Dorris's head and hops out. Benn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dorris throws out the jab. Benn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dorris defends it nicely. Benn ducks under a wild hook from Dorris. Dorris tries a head kick but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Benn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dorris sprawls well. Dorris wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Benn gets slowly back to his feet. Chuck Dorris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jp Benn. Dorris misses with a series of wild punches.

Dorris shoots in but no luck this time. Benn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dorris as he avoids it easily. Benn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dorris tries to avoid it but Benn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dorris to the ground. Dorris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benn shoots in for a takedown but Dorris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dorris misses with a body shot.
Dorris lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Chuck Dorris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Benn or perhaps it was just good defense by Dorris which made him look bad. Dorris throws out a powerful jab. Dorris scores with a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Benn fails with a takedown attempt. Benn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dorris. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dorris throws a lazy right hand but Benn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dorris feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Benn's calf. Benn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dorris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Benn somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Dorris dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Benn blocks a head kick by Dorris.
Dorris dives in and grabs Benn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Benn pushes down on Dorris's head and hops out. Chuck Dorris is winning the standup battle so far. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dorris. Dorris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dorris throws a hook but Benn blocks it. Dorris lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A shot to the liver by Dorris. Beautiful body shot. Benn shoots in looking for a takedown. Dorris tries to sprawl out of it but Benn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dorris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dorris scores with a sloppy right hand. Benn should have avoided that one. Benn is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dorris is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Benn.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorris throws a right and a left that Benn avoids nicely. Benn shoots in for a double leg but Dorris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dorris tries to sprawl but Benn drives through with a takedown into half guard. Benn is controlling the pace.
Dorris is refusing to be controlled, as Benn sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dorris wants to control but Benn is keeping busy.
Benn stalling away here and it's allowed Dorris to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Chuck Dorris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Benn wants to pass the guard but Dorris is keeping the position. Benn prevents Dorris from getting back to his feet. Benn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dorris is looking to stand up but Benn isn't so interested in that idea. Dorris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Benn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Benn lands a couple of elbows. Benn trying to control the position from guard on top but Dorris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Benn looking to sit in guard and control but Dorris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Benn controls Dorris momentarily but Dorris frees himself. Chuck Dorris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dorris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jp Benn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Benn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dorris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dorris gets to his feet - Benn follows without any prompting. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dorris lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. This has been an exciting period of action! Benn drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Benn in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Jp Benn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dorris has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
