The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandao missing with a left hand there. Santiago was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brandao gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Santiago has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Santiago throws a lazy body kick and Brandao counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Santiago out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Brandao is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marcus Brandao! Marcus Brandao bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
