The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harvey as he jumps to the side.
Harvey scores with a one two! Bernardo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Bernardo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Harvey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Harvey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Harvey!

Bernardo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harvey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bernardo shoots for a double leg takedown but Harvey sprawls well. He's pushed Bernardo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Horrible takedown by Bernardo or perhaps it was just good defense by Harvey which made him look bad.
