Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Whyte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chocolate Hurricane! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whyte misses with a series of wild punches.
Hurricane throws a jab but it's blocked by Whyte. Hurricane missing with a left hand there. Whyte was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Whyte pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Whyte throws a hook but Hurricane blocks it. Hurricane throws a big shot that misses. Hurricane misses with a left hand and Whyte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Chocolate Hurricane has been cut. A punch combination from Whyte misses. Whyte throws a jab when Hurricane was well out of range. Hurricane missing with a left hand there. Whyte was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A big left from Hurricane misses. Whyte scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. This has been an exciting period of action! Hurricane throws out a loose jab but Whyte uses good head movement to avoid it. Whyte fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Chocolate Hurricane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hurricane misses with a hook. Whyte ducked under it nicely. Whyte ducks under a wild hook from Hurricane.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurricane avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hurricane lands a jab. Hurricane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Whyte sees it coming and avoids it easily. Whyte showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hurricane.
Whyte keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hurricane. Hurricane misses with a looping left. Hurricane misses with a double jab.

Whyte feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hurricane sprawling to the canvas! Hurricane rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Whyte finish him?!
Hurricane is rocked! Hurricane has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. This has been an exciting period of action! Hurricane throws a lazy uppercut
and Whyte counters with a huge right that knocks Hurricane out cold! Whyte is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
