PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayhem has managed to clinch.
Mayhem can't find room to land a body shot as Caldwell controls the action.

Mayhem manages to break the clinch.
Mayhem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mayhem working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Caldwell is looking for a sweep. Mayhem is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mayhem clinches up with Caldwell and pushes him back against the cage.
Caldwell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mayhem is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Caldwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mayhem has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Caldwell has managed to get both his arms back between Mayhem's legs - danger averted.

Mayhem shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Caldwell's guard.
