Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Savage! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.
Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savage being controlled here momentarily. Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Savage is fighting to break Jones's control of his arms but Jones is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Marcus Jones just wasn't active enough. Savage throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch. Savage stalling in the clinch but Jones improves position. Savage lands a hook to the side of the head. Savage is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Savage doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Sloppy strikes from Savage. Those never looked like landing. Jones on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones connects with a leg kick. Savage looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Savage shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones moves forwards but Savage connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A swing and a miss from Savage. Savage cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice takedown defense from Savage. No joy for Jones on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Savage in a clinch.
Savage tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jones managing to control the position. Jones has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Savage doesn't defend quickly enough and Jones has managed to lock this one up! Can Savage escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jones on a fantastic submission victory.
