Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luc Lemay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quaid has chosen Total Recall as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Douglas Quaid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luc Lemay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Douglas Quaid! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemay misses with a jab to the body
and Quaid counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lemay won't be happy with that. Quaid creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lemay sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Lemay is trying to control Quaid's posture but Quaid avoids it. Lemay is working to avoid the ground and pound but Quaid connects with a decent elbow. Lemay tries to bench press Quaid off him but Quaid keeps the position. Quaid tries to move to mount but Lemay blocks the move with his legs. Quaid trying to control the position but Lemay is working away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quaid working the ground and pound from side control. Quaid working the ground and pound. Quaid wants to control but Lemay is keeping him busy. Lemay is looking to regain half guard here but Quaid keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quaid in side control lands a decent elbow. A big shot lands for Quaid! That's hurt Lemay! Will he recover? Quaid fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Douglas Quaid! Douglas Quaid decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
