Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rulon Oboev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graveyard Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oboev comes to the cage accompanied by Chernie glaza. Ghost is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Howlin Wolf- Smokestack Lightening. The key to victory for Rulon Oboev has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rulon Oboev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Graveyard Ghost! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oboev throws a nice looking combination but Ghost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ghost looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ghost content to control rather than advance. Oboev tries to roll over but Ghost keeps him under control. Ghost is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Ghost looking to control but Oboev is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ghost throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Ghost sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! My spies in Sun Tzu's Art of War inform me that Ghost has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ghost swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Oboev is now in Ghost's guard. A big mistake from Ghost there, giving up the dominant position! Ghost working a defensive guard here.
Ghost keeping moving, preventing Oboev from controlling successfully. Oboev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ghost has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oboev has managed to get both his arms back between Ghost's legs - danger averted. Ghost not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ghost looking for a sweep. Not yet Ghost, not yet. Ghost is looking for a triangle but Oboev pushes his legs off easily.
Ghost has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oboev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ghost trying to keep a closed guard but Oboev is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oboev lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ghost isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Oboev stacks Ghost on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Oboev! Oboev is working Ghost over with some ground and pound from side control. Oboev laying and praying for a moment but Ghost takes advantage and regains half guard. Ghost has hold of Oboev's hands but Oboev slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Oboev is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Oboev passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ghost! Oboev landing strikes from the mount and Ghost is in trouble! Oboev lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ghost hang on? Oboev pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Oboev tries to control but Ghost wriggling away. The referee warns Ghost that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Oboev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ghost on the ground. Ghost is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Oboev breaks from Ghost's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oboev has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ghost's face.

Ghost is rocked! Ghost is wriggling around trying to escape.
Oboev unloading with bombs! Ghost is still in real trouble! Can Oboev finish him? Oboev trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ghost seems to have recovered his senses. Oboev avoids the attempt from Ghost to control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ghost keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

No joy there for Oboev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oboev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oboev lands with an uppercut that bounces Ghost off the cage and back into range. Oboev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ghost circles away. Oboev fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. A left lands for Oboev. Ghost fails with the takedown and Oboev counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Ghost! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oboev is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Rulon Oboev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ghost is pressing down on Oboev's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ghost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Oboev has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oboev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ghost circles away quickly and effectively. Ghost closes this distance looking for a takedown but Oboev circles away. Oboev swinging wildly here.
Oboev looks to throw the jab but Ghost is out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Oboev. Ghost does a little dance to reset his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ghost tries for a takedown but Oboev circles away easily and Oboev decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ghost's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ghost has his foot on Oboev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oboev works his way back into a safe position though. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oboev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ghost keeping moving, preventing Oboev from controlling successfully. Oboev avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ghost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Oboev's guard. Oboev has his hands on Ghost's head, controlling the position. Ghost tries to free his leg and advance position but Oboev is retaining full guard. Ghost trying to control but Oboev is working from the bottom. Ghost working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ghost trying to control but Oboev is working from the bottom. Ghost throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Oboev works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ghost trying to control but Oboev is working from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Oboev is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ghost wants to control from the top but Oboev keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Oboev fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sloppy strikes from Oboev. Those never looked like landing. Oboev thows a body shot but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oboev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ghost moves away. Rulon Oboev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oboev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ghost shoots and misses and Oboev counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Rulon Oboev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Graveyard Ghost. Ghost has a takedown stuffed. Ghost fails with the takedown and Ghost takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oboev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Graveyard Ghost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oboev with a body punch. A glancing blow.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Graveyard Ghost. I think Oboev has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
