PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ron jeremy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Roc Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roc Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pantera - I'm Broken. Jay Roc Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, ron jeremy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Roc Jr!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jeremy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Roc Jr as he jumps to the side.
jeremy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roc Jr but Roc Jr pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Roc Jr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
jeremy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
jeremy fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ron jeremy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice right hand lands inside from Roc Jr.

Roc Jr has jeremy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Roc Jr pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending jeremy tumbling to the mat - Roc Jr dives into jeremy's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jay Roc Jr just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jay Roc Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

jeremy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Roc Jr has picked jeremy up and slammed him! jeremy can't keep hold of the triangle and Roc Jr manages to pass to side control!

Roc Jr stands up.

Roc Jr gets in close and instigates a clinch.

and Roc Jr counters with a nice low kick that buckles jeremy's knee momentarily.

Roc Jr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Roc Jr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Roc Jr stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Jay Roc Jr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roc Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
