Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Glen Flavian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Rapide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glen Flavian has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flavian shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rapide manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Flavian is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rapide not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rapide is looking to stand up but Flavian isn't so interested in that idea.
Rapide has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flavian can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rapide's corner calls for a 1-2. Rapide obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rapide throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Flavian tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rapide is in Flavian's guard.

Rapide ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rapide no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rapide bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Flavian's guard.

Lyoto Rapide comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rapide has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
