Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akisame Koetsuji!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koetsuji pushes McGuire up against the cage in a clinch.
McGuire drops down looking for an ankle pick but Koetsuji pulls his leg out and moves away.
Koetsuji uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGuire has time to react.
McGuire doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Koetsuji counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGuire won't be happy with that.
Koetsuji advances to full mount.
McGuire in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koetsuji prevents McGuire from getting the reversal.

McGuire on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McGuire tries to get out of the position.
Koetsuji lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Oh McGuire is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big strike lands for Koetsuji! That's really hurt McGuire and he's turned his back - Koetsuji keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Koetsuji jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akisame Koetsuji!
Akisame Koetsuji gave a mention to CEC Nutrition Q160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
