Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Very Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agapit Blondi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agapit Blondi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Magnum has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Magnum is looking to clinch but Blondi is avoiding it.

Magnum drives through and clinches with Blondi against the cage.
Magnum is trying to pull guard but Blondi has him pressed against the cage.

Blondi darts in looking for a takedown but Magnum gets double underhooks and turns Blondi into the cage.

Blondi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Magnum is looking to clinch.
Magnum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blondi tries to avoid it but Magnum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blondi to the ground. Blondi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blondi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Magnum darts in trying to clinch
and Blondi counters with a solid body kick.
Magnum shoots in for a takedown but Blondi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Blondi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Magnum is fending him off so far but Blondi persists. Nope, Magnum circles away and we're back to standing.
Magnum wants to clinch up but Blondi keeps it at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Blondi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Blondi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Magnum on his heels. He'll look to pass Magnum's guard now, I'm sure.
Magnum has momentary wrist control but Blondi slips an elbow through the middle.

Magnum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blondi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Blondi's coach down at LOD Gym Now with StandUP was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Blondi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Magnum is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Magnum tries to pull guard but Blondi won't allow it.
Blondi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Blondi misses with a knee to the head.
Blondi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Magnum smiles and moves away.

Magnum fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blondi sprawls well initially but Magnum persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Agapit Blondi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Magnum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Magnum throws a series of punches but Blondi avoids them all with ease.

Blondi feints and as Magnum raises his hands in defense, Blondi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Magnum makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Magnum.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Agapit Blondi was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Magnum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blondi swivels and escapes.

Blondi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Magnum's guard.

Magnum doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Agapit Blondi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Blondi shoots in for a double leg but Magnum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Magnum closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Agapit Blondi.
Well Blondi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
