Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jewel Wilcox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Miller!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller gets the takedown into side control.
Miller lands some shots froms side control.
Wilcox tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Wilcox on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wilcox tries to get out of the position.
Miller taking a breather here.
Wilcox takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilcox keeps working.
Wilcox is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it.
Miller is looking to take a break and control but Wilcox is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Miller working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilcox keeps working.
Wilcox is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Miller is controlling him well.

Wilcox is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it.

Miller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilcox manages to work his way to half guard, despite Miller's best efforts.
Wilcox moves into full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wilcox wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Miller wants to get up but he can't break Wilcox's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Wilcox gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wilcox tries to stand but Miller is controlling from the bottom.

Miller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Wilcox keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Miller's head.
Miller tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wilcox slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Wilcox tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilcox has control of an arm but Miller manages to advance to Wilcox's back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaron Miller dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wilcox gets a clinch.
Miller trying to control the position but instead, Wilcox has worked for underhooks and has pushed Miller into the cage.

Wilcox pulls Miller into guard.
Miller wants to stand and escape but instead Wilcox has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Wilcox slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Miller is trying to control the position but Wilcox postures up.
Wilcox wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.

Wilcox controls from within his opponent's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wilcox trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jewel Wilcox has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Wilcox shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Miller tries to clinch up.
Wilcox tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Miller gets tackled into the cage by Wilcox. Wilcox maintains the clinch.
Miller wants a takedown but no success here.

Wilcox tries to score a body lock takedown but Miller shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Miller is breathing heavily.

Wilcox lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Miller is looking for a sweep. Wilcox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilcox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller is trying to stand.

Wilcox trying to control the pace.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilcox uses his free foot to push down on Miller's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Miller.

Wilcox lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wilcox takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Wilcox pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wilcox fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wilcox lands a couple of good shots and Miller has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Wilcox has got one arm under Miller's chin. This could be trouble... Miller trying to control the other hand but Wilcox gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Miller has tapped out! The fight is over!
