Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Alonso throws a series of strikes that have Barysas backpedaling.
Alonso throws a shot to the body.
Barysas swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Alonso cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barysas looks for the body kick but Alonso saw that one coming.
Alonso fails to land with a series of punches.
Barysas throws a wild body kick that Alonso sees coming a mile off.
Alonso scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alonso stalks Barysas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Barysas's face. Barysas staggers backwards, shaken.
Barysas throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Barysas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Barysas is rocked!
Barysas looks winded!
Barysas walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Barysas limp body while Alonso jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pablo Alonso!
