Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akiro Sata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atis Visnevskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sata comes to the cage accompanied by Onward to Victory!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Visnevskis.
Visnevskis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sata has a takedown stuffed.
Sata looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Visnevskis keeps the fight on the outside.

Visnevskis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Visnevskis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sata looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sata is breathing heavily.
Visnevskis lands with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Visnevskis scores with a body shot.
Visnevskis connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Visnevskis throws a leg kick but Sata checks it.
Sata darts in trying to clinch
enabling Visnevskis to counter with a crisp jab.


Sata is rocked!
Visnevskis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sata's calf.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sata avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Visnevskis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sata. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Visnevskis misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Atis Visnevskis dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sata tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Visnevskis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sata tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sata throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Visnevskis.
A looping hook to the body misses from Visnevskis. Sata does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sata is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Visnevskis swats away the attempt to clinch by Sata.
Sata ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Visnevskis moves away.
Sata doesn't manage to clinch there - Visnevskis circles away.
Visnevskis takes a swing at Sata's ribcage but misses.

Sata tries to pull guard but Visnevskis forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Sata breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sata looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sata takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sata scores with the left hand. Visnevskis knows he should have avoided that one.
Visnevskis lands a really nice looking cross but Sata seems unphased.
Visnevskis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sata gets caught flat footed, as Visnevskis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Visnevskis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Visnevskis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sata is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sata is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Visnevskis trying to control but Sata is working from the bottom.
Visnevskis postures up in Sata's guard and throws a big left but Sata blocks it.

Visnevskis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Oh Sata is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sata keeping moving, preventing Visnevskis from controlling successfully.
Sata seems to have got his legs back now.
Visnevskis slips nicely into half guard.

Visnevskis cracks Sata with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Visnevskis immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Sata is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Visnevskis!
