Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Margo Kornas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cirilo Galiei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cirilo Galiei will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galiei wants to clinch but Kornas slips to the side
and Kornas counters with a single leg into guard. Galiei didn't expect that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kornas controlling from the top position.
Kornas has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Galiei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kornas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kornas drops back looking for a leg! Galiei is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Galiei manages to kick Kornas off! Kornas jumps back into Galiei's guard.
Galiei is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kornas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kornas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Margo Kornas just wasn't active enough.

Kornas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kornas's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Galiei wants to clinch.
Galiei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kornas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kornas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kornas showed some decent athleticism there.
Kornas moves nicely into side control.

Kornas seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Galiei for as long as he can get away with.
Kornas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Galiei keeps working.

Kornas pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Kornas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Galiei manages to avoid it.

Galiei moves out of range of the body kick from Kornas.
Galiei wants to clinch up but Kornas keeps it at a distance.
Galiei stuffs the takedown attempt from Kornas. Kornas gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Margo Kornas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Galiei tries to clinch but Kornas moves away
and Kornas counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kornas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Galiei has a couple of punches blocked by Kornas.
Kornas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Galiei walks away with a smile on his face. Kornas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Galiei is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Kornas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Galiei fails with an attempt to clinch.
Galiei shoots in but no luck this time.
Galiei shoots in looking for a takedown but Kornas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Galiei's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kornas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Galiei sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kornas somewhat.
Kornas swats away the attempt to clinch by Galiei.
Galiei wants to clinch
and Kornas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Galiei won't be happy with that.

Galiei is being controlled here.
Kornas lands an elbow.
Galiei pushes Kornas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kornas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kornas tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Kornas is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Galiei will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kornas works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Kornas has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Galiei!

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kornas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Margo Kornas has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kornas moves into range and clinches up with Galiei.
Kornas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Galiei can't get the takedown.

Kornas tries to pull guard but Galiei won't allow it.
Kornas wants to take the fight to the mat but Galiei manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kornas jumps guard but Galiei turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Cirilo Galiei has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Margo Kornas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kornas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kornas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
