The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fletcher shoots in for a takedown but Eaize shows good takedown defense.
Fletcher misses with a few strikes there.
Fletcher tries to work over Eaize's front leg with a kick but Eaize checks it.
Fletcher looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Eaize!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Fletcher could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Eaize tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fletcher smiles and moves away.

Lesley Fletcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Eaize.

Fletcher does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Eaize shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fletcher as he jumps to the side.
Fletcher shoots in looking for a takedown. Eaize tries to sprawl out of it but Fletcher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eaize manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fletcher moves in looking to clinch but Eaize pushes him off.

Eaize struggles to land a body shot inside as Fletcher controls his hands.
Fletcher has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Eaize uses from the top position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
