Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fichten Klatscher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fichten Klatscher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klatscher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Klatscher.

Hawkins moves into range and clinches up with Klatscher.

Hawkins pulls guard successfully.
Klatscher has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Klatscher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hawkins's guard.

Hawkins looking for submissions off his back.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Klatscher in particular looking to stall.
Klatscher not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Klatscher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hawkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Klatscher.

Hawkins moves into full guard.
Klatscher wants to control from the top but Hawkins keeps moving.

Hawkins looking for a guillotine here but Klatscher defends easily.

Klatscher got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hawkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klatscher has managed to get both his arms back between Hawkins's legs - danger averted.

Klatscher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hawkins keeping moving, preventing Klatscher from controlling successfully.

Hawkins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Klatscher is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Klatscher would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Hawkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Klatscher defends well.

Klatscher postures up in Hawkins's guard and throws a big left but Hawkins blocks it.
Klatscher wants to control from the top but Hawkins keeps moving.
Klatscher throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hawkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Klatscher passes Hawkins's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Klatscher is looking for a kimura but Hawkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Klatscher to get the leverage.

Klatscher is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Klatscher wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Klatscher is taking a breather. Hawkins says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fichten Klatscher dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A head kick misses from Klatscher.
Hawkins avoids the head kick by Klatscher.
Klatscher slaps away a takedown attempt from Hawkins, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Klatscher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Klatscher explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hawkins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Klatscher drops his shoulder and cracks Hawkins with a huge uppercut! Hawkins goes down! Can Klatscher finish him?

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Klatscher wants to control from the top but Hawkins keeps moving.

Klatscher gets to his feet. Hawkins looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Klatscher moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hawkins is breathing heavily.
Klatscher lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Klatscher scores with a push kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Klatscher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Klatscher wants it to stay on the feet.
Klatscher with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Klatscher throws a series of punches but Hawkins avoids them all with ease.
Klatscher thumps Hawkins with a low kick.
Klatscher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Klatscher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Klatscher lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hawkins will feel that in the morning.
Klatscher lands with a thumping leg kick.

Left hook, right uppercut from Klatscher.
Klatscher throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Hawkins crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fichten Klatscher!
