Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gibbler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blackwood moves out of range of the leg kick from Gibbler.
Gibbler scores with a sloppy right hand. Blackwood should have avoided that one.
Gibbler's coach down at The Pit was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gibbler's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Blackwood walks into a stiff left hand from Gibbler.
Gibbler pivots, looking for a leg kick but Blackwood is out of range and Gibbler settles back down.
Good shot there by Gibbler.
Gibbler lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Malcolm Blackwood has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gibbler lands a jab to the head.
Gibbler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Gibbler throws a leg kick but Blackwood sees it coming and moves out of range.
Blackwood walks into a left hand.
Blackwood is rocked!
Blackwood checks a leg kick.
Blackwood walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gibbler tries a low kick but Blackwood avoids it.
Gibbler is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blackwood had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gibbler sends Blackwood crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gibbler is motioning to the referee to let Blackwood up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Blackwood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gibbler cracks Blackwood with a left hook right on the temple and Blackwood goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Gibbler lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Blackwood is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jim Gibbler!
