Mvungi comes to the cage accompanied by Professor Jay ft. Ferooz - Nikusaidiaje?. Machine has chosen Fergie - Party People as his entrance music. 30 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cardio Machine! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machine darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Mvungi tries to kick Machine off but Machine keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Machine is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mvungi is staying active underneath Machine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mvungi is holding on to half guard well. Mvungi is looking to escape. Mvungi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mvungi. Mvungi wants to stand and escape but Machine is having none of it. Machine passes Mvungi's left leg - he's now in half guard.
