Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jurendie Siberie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimon Boets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boets has chosen Штиль as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jurendie Siberie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jurendie Siberie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimon Boets!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siberie throws a quick inside leg kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boets.
Boets shoots in looking for a takedown. Siberie tries to sprawl out of it but Boets keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Siberie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Siberie misses with a lunging right hand
and Boets counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Siberie thinking.
Siberie throws a hook but Boets avoids it easily.
Boets shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Siberie defends it nicely.
Jurendie Siberie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimon Boets.
Siberie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boets shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Siberie but Siberie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Siberie stuffs the takedown.
Boets shoots for a double leg takedown but Siberie sprawls well. He's pushed Boets's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Siberie just misses with a punch to the body.
Boets will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boets darts in looking for a takedown but Siberie gets double underhooks and turns Boets into the cage.
Boets looks winded!
Siberie is pushing Boets up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Boets blocks a body shot from Siberie.
Siberie misses with a short punch on the inside.
Siberie lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Siberie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Boets is defending well for now.
Siberie creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Siberie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boets shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Siberie defends it nicely.
Jurendie Siberie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boets shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Siberie as he avoids it easily.
Siberie lands an overhand right.
Boets fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dimon Boets seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boets forces Siberie back against the cage and clinches.

Boets letting Siberie take a breather here.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Siberie stalling.
Siberie connects with a nasty looking knee right to Boets's face.
Siberie scores with an uppercut up the middle.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Siberie takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Siberie misses with a hook to the ribs.
Boets is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Siberie pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Boets goes for a takedown attempt but Siberie pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boets.
Boets shoots in and drives through. Siberie sprawls well.
Boets ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Siberie moves away.
Siberie lands a nice hook to Boets's body. Boets takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Siberie lands a nice shot that snaps Boets's head back.
A nice leg kick lands there from Siberie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boets uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Siberie.
Siberie tests Boets's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boets is trying hard to land a takedown here. Siberie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boets darts in looking for a takedown but Siberie gets double underhooks and turns Boets into the cage.
Still in the clinch, Siberie scores with a nice short uppercut.


It looks like Dimon Boets has been cut.
Siberie lands an elbow just above Boets 's eye.
Siberie slowing the pace effectively.
Boets changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Siberie fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boets tries for a takedown but Siberie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Siberie lands a big uppercut and Boets crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Boets looks OK. Siberie waves Boets back to his feet!


Boets is rocked!
Crack! Siberie connects with the perfect overhand right and Boets falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Siberie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jurendie Siberie!
Jurendie Siberie decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
