Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Roth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Wooten!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth misses with a head kick.

Roth drives through with a takedown into Wooten's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wooten is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Roth pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wooten is keeping the position for now.
Wooten not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Roth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wooten's head.
Roth has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Wooten manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roth wants to stand but Wooten is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roth is putting a hurting on Wooten here, landing some big shots from side control.
You can see the frustration on Wooten's face as Roth controls the position.
Wooten is trying to improve his position.

Wooten dodges the ground and pound from Roth.

Wooten gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Roth is working for a guillotine from mount but Wooten frees his head quite easily.

Roth wants to finish this one by submission but Wooten is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Roth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Roth working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Roth trying to control but Wooten is having none of it.
Wooten can't escape the position.

Roth controlling his opponent.
Wooten is desperately trying to improve his position but Roth has a good base and remains in mount.
Roth wants to get back to his feet but Wooten is holding on tight.
Wooten is trying to escape the mount.
Roth controlling the pace for now.

Roth scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wooten gets back to half guard.
Roth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wooten keeps working.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Roth is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wooten!
Wooten tries to get back to half guard but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
BOOM! Roth connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roth sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henry Roth dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Wooten shoots in for a double leg but Roth sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Roth ducks right into an uppercut from Wooten.
Wooten avoids a punch combination nicely.

Roth rushes Wooten and presses him up against the cage.
Roth is trying to pull guard but Wooten turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Wooten decides to pull guard.
Wooten keeping moving, preventing Roth from controlling successfully.
Wooten controls Roth momentarily but Roth frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roth throws a big right hand that misses.
Wooten is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Roth dives into side control.
Roth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooten struggling a bit here.
A lull in the action here as Roth stalls from top position.

Roth is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wooten looks calm but he's in trouble here. Roth gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wooten is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Roth lets go of the hold and Wooten can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Henry Roth!
