0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Misha Kubacz! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kubacz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Moura closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kubacz quickly recovers to half guard. Moura is looking for a kimura here.

Moura wants to work for an arm triangle but Kubacz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Moura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Moura is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kubacz defends it well. Kubacz misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Moura passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kubacz! Moura goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kubacz is on top in guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moura had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kubacz defends it easily.

Kubacz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kubacz controls from within his opponent's guard. Moura looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kubacz is one step ahead there. Moura is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kubacz frees his head nicely. Oh but Moura has switched to an armbar! Kubacz is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
