The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackberg forces Stark back against the cage and clinches.
Stark is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Blackberg to keep the fight standing.
Blackberg wants to stall.
Blackberg pulls Stark into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stark thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stark trying to control the position from guard on top but Blackberg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stark drops back looking for a leg! Blackberg is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blackberg manages to kick Stark off! Stark jumps back into Blackberg's guard.
Stark landing some decent shots from guard.
Stark scoring with punches to the head and body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blackberg controls Stark momentarily but Stark frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stark works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Stark has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Blackberg defend it? Stark steps over the head and cranks it - Blackberg is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stark!
