The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hielo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Forrest holding on.
Forrest is looking to regain half guard here but Hielo keeps moving and retains side control.
Forrest wants to control but Hielo postures up.

Hielo prevents Forrest from escaping the position.
Forrest tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Hielo wants to take Forrest's back here but Forrest is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Hielo trying to control but Forrest is having none of it.
Forrest is looking to get to half guard.

Forrest prevents Hielo from taking his back.

You can see the frustration on Forrest's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hielo tries to keep control of the position but Forrest is staying busy.
Hielo is not going to allow Forrest to sit and survive in this position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Hielo controlling the positon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Hielo dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Forrest fails with the takedown
and Hielo counters with a shoot takedown. Forrest fights it but they end up in guard.
Forrest working a defensive guard but Hielo manages to pass into side control anyway.
Forrest is trying to get back to half guard.
Forrest wants to control but Hielo postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Forrest tries to buck Hielo off but Hielo is having none of it.

Hielo blocks the strikes from Forrest.
Forrest is trying to control but Hielo manages to pass to mount!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hielo wants to control the pace but Forrest is squirming around nicely.
Forrest really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hielo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Forrest has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Forrest throwing hammer fists to the chest of Hielo. What's that going to do exactly?
Hielo working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Forrest tries to hold on but Hielo postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hielo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Forrest has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Forrest is squirming around, avoiding Hielo's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Hielo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hielo fails with the takedown
and Forrest counters by moving into the clinch.
Forrest escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Forrest misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hielo blocks a jab.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Forrest throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hielo.
Forrest lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hielo will feel that in the morning.

and Hielo counters with a takedown into side control.

Forrest tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Hielo easily slips into full mount!
Forrest wants to control but Hielo is having none of it.
Forrest tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hielo working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Forrest looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hielo! Submission of the night perhaps?
