Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davey Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Finch has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Finch seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Finchs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Finch circles away quickly and effectively.
Finch fails to land with a series of punches.
Finch dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Finch's head and hops out.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Finch doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones works the jab nicely.
Finch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Finch swinging wildly here.
Jones gets tackled into the cage by Finch. Finch maintains the clinch.
Finch comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jones misses with a punch to the body.
Jones is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Finch is keeping busy.
Finch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Finch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Finch looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Some wild striking there from Jones.
Chris Finch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Finch misses with a few strikes there.
Finch fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Finch fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Finch is breathing heavily.
Finch fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Finch.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Finch misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Finch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
Jones's jab looks to have found its range, popping Finch under the eye.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Finch.
Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Finch momentarily.
Finch closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Finch pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Finch's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Jones dives in looking to finish as Finch flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Jones's strikes! Jones is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Finch's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Finch was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davey Jones!
