The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon circles away from the clinch attempt
and Brandon counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Brandon is looking for a takedown.
Brandon blocks a body shot from Chambers.
Brandon tries for a takedown. No joy.
Brandon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chambers after a bit of a struggle.
George Chambers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Brandon.
Chambers tries to circle away but Brandon has him pinned against the cage.
Brandon keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chambers's efforts to push away.
Brandon has Chambers pressed against the cage, preventing Chambers from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Brandon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chambers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Chambers struggles to land a body shot inside as Brandon controls his hands.
Chambers lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Brandon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brandon has Chambers pressed against the cage, preventing Chambers from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Brandon is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Chambers is defending well.

Chambers can't find room to land a body shot as Brandon controls the action.
Brandon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brandon looks for a takedown but Chambers sprawls well.

Chambers tries to clinch
and Brandon counters with a single leg into guard. Chambers didn't expect that.
Chambers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Brandon passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brandon has an Americana. Chambers didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brandon is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brandon hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
