Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilic misses with a head kick.
Lara feints a jab promting Ilic to slip. Lara then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ilic slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ilic closes the distance but Lara moves to the side
and Lara counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Lara looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lara blocks a head kick by Ilic.

and Lara holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A nice left hand lands by Ilic.
It looks like Monte Lara has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lara tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ilic swivels and escapes.

Dorian Ilic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lara is rocked!
Lara shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ilic defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monte Lara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ilic tries to clinch up.
Ilic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lara paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ilic batters Lara with a massive right followed by a huge left! Lara is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Ilic lands a final crushing right hand to drop Lara to the mat with a gruesome thud! Ilic is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
