Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ingemar Stenmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davin Valeshnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davin Valeshnikov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Davin Valeshnikov!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stenmark closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Valeshnikov quickly recovers to half guard.

Stenmark stands up from half guard.
Stenmark slaps away a takedown attempt from Valeshnikov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Valeshnikov shoots and misses
and Stenmark makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Valeshnikov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ingemar Stenmark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davin Valeshnikov.
Valeshnikov misses the shot to the body.

Stenmark closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Valeshnikov did well to prevent Stenmark getting side control.

Stenmark is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stenmark throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stenmark frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
BOOM! Stenmark connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Stenmark scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Valeshnikov?
Stenmark will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stenmark lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Stenmark loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Valeshnikov scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Stenmark land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Stenmark stands and salutes the crowd.
