The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by yi or perhaps it was just good defense by Osamowa which made him look bad.
Osamowa shoots in for a takedown but yi shows good takedown defense.
Osamowa fails with a takedown attempt.
Osamowa looks winded!

yi gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
yi grinds an elbow into Osamowa's temple.
