The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quin looks for a takedown but Brodin sprawls well.
Good standup being displayed there by Brodin as he connects with a hook.
Brodin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Brodin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Tom Quin has been cut.
Quin misses the shot to the body.
Brodin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Quin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brodin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Brodin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Quin dives into side control.

Brodin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Quin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Let's hope that Quin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Quin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brodin's face.
Quin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Quin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Quin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Quin cracks Brodin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Brodin is in a horrible position here. Quin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Quin prevents Brodin from getting the reversal.
Quin landing strikes from the mount and Brodin is in trouble!
Brodin tries to hold on but Quin pushes him away.
Quin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brodin looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Quin drops a big elbow. That's hurt Brodin! More shots from Quin and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Tom Quin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
