Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tuan Solis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Brown! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solis shoots in and gets a takedown into Brown's guard. Brown wants to sweep here but Solis controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Solis's guard. Solis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Solis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown looking to pass the guard. Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Solis controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself. Solis keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A bone on bone clash there as Brown blocks the leg kick.
Solis shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Solis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brown is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solis is posturing up here but Brown has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Solis tries to roll out but it's too tight and Solis has to tap! Slick submission there by Brown!
