Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Inc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivey comes to the cage accompanied by Friday. Inc has chosen Bad Moon Rising as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Phil Ivey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dick Inc's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Ivey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Inc!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ivey lands a big head kick that sends Inc tumbling to the mat! Ivey takes a step backwards and waves Inc back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Dick Inc has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ivey throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Ivey dodges the punch combination from Inc.
Ivey takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Inc takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


Inc is rocked!

Inc shoots in and gets a takedown into Ivey's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ivey wants to sweep but no luck.
Ivey trying to control the position here.
Ivey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Inc is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ivey looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Inc puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Inc wants to control but Ivey is keeping him busy.

Inc is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ivey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Inc.

Inc tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ivey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Inc is looking for a kimura but Ivey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Inc to get the leverage.

Inc is pressing down on Ivey's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ivey is holding on for now.

Inc is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ivey avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Inc.

Inc is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Inc drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Inc advances to mount.

Inc looking to finish Ivey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ivey!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ivey tries to roll over but Inc keeps him under control.
Inc throwing shots but Ivey is blocking nicely.
Ivey wants to get back to full guard.
Inc has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ivey is defending against the submission attempts here by Inc.

Ivey is looking for a sweep. Inc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ivey works his way to full guard. Good work.
Inc stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ivey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Inc throws a strike but Ivey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ivey distracts Inc with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Inc is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ivey keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Inc's head.
Inc keeping moving, preventing Ivey from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Phil Ivey will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Dick Inc's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A solid leg kick lands there for Ivey.
Ivey wants to clinch.
Inc checks a leg kick nicely.
Ivey swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Inc misses with a shot to the body
and Ivey counters with an outside leg kick.
Inc fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Inc blocks a head kick by Ivey.
Ivey's jab looks to have found its range, popping Inc under the eye.
Inc misses with a jab, cross combination.
Inc throws the left hand but Ivey avoids the punch easily.
Ivey scores with a shot to the body.

Ivey misses with a lunging right hand

so Inc counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Inc accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ivey wants to sweep but no luck.
Ivey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Inc manages to get himself to full guard.

Inc looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ivey pushing down on Inc's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Ivey is looking to take a break and control but Inc is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Inc utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Inc escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ivey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've been hearing good reports from Ivey's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Ivey has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Ivey needs to keep his hands up - Inc had a free shot at his head there.
Inc looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
