The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contreras is trying hard to land a takedown here. Light It sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Light It connects with an inside leg kick.
Contreras shoots for a takedown but Light It saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Light It looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Contreras!
Contreras is trying to improve his position.
Light It stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Light It bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Light It wants to control but Contreras is keeping him busy.

Contreras gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Light It throws a nice looking combination but Contreras bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Contreras goes for a double leg but Light It avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Light It continues to drive forward.

Contreras is trying to break free.
Light It is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Contreras is trying to break the clinch but Light It is controlling him.
Contreras stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Light It lands an elbow just above Contreras 's eye.
It looks like Theo Contreras has been cut.
Light It gets underhooks to prevent Contreras's takedown attempt.

Light It breaks from the clinch.
Light It fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Contreras, pushing him back against the cage.
Light It has Contreras pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Light It pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Contreras tumbling to the mat - Light It dives into Contreras's guard.
Contreras wants to stand and escape but Light It is having none of it.

Contreras is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Contreras might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Contreras keeping moving, preventing Light It from controlling successfully.
Light It stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Contreras swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Light It gets to his feet. Contreras looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Light It throws a front kick that sends Contreras stumbling back into the cage.

Light It lands a head kick!
Contreras gets caught napping as Light It dives in and scores a takedown. Contreras manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Light It advances position into side control!
Light It content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Light It has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Contreras!

Light It goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Contreras turns into him and now he's in Light It's guard.
Contreras looking to sit in guard and control but Light It gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

and Contreras cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Contreras lands with a kick to the temple. Light It shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Light It dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Contreras. That did some damage!
Contreras throws a head kick that misses
and Light It moves into the clinch.
Light It breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Light It connects with a high kick.
Light It closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Contreras did well to prevent Light It getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Contreras regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Light It.

Contreras is trying to control the position but Light It postures up.
Light It content to stall in guard here.

Light It drops back looking for a leg! Contreras is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Contreras manages to kick Light It off! Light It jumps back into Contreras's guard.

Well Light It has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
