Roger comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Weidman has chosen Alab ng Puso-Abra as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Roger.
Weidman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Roger swinging wildly here.
Roger cracks Weidman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Roger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Roger wants it to stay on the feet.

Roger closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Roger moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Weidman dodges the punch combination from Roger.
Roger throws a right and a left that Weidman avoids nicely.

Roger lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Weidman is rocked!

Roger steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Weidman is out on his feet! Roger sets himself and nearly takes Weidman's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

After winning the bout, Johannes Roger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
