Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Easton West!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Binay slips under a jab from West.
Binay looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Binay tries to clinch there but West circles away.
Nice body kick from West.
Binay moves in looking to clinch but West pushes him off.
Binay needs to keep his hands up - West had a free shot at his head there.
West connects with an inside leg kick.
West throws a leg kick which misses Binay's front leg but catches the back leg as Binay tries to avoid it.
Binay tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Easton West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Binay throws out a loose jab but West uses good head movement to avoid it.
Binay moves out of range as West throws a body kick.
Binay doesn't manage to clinch there - West circles away.

West has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Binay is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Binay avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
West tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Binay is able to avoid easily.
West jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
West throws a body kick that misses.
Binay moves in looking to clinch but West pushes him off.
Binay walks forward, straight into a front kick from West.

Binay closes the distance and clinches.
West looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Binay gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

West looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Binay is taking a breather. West says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
West has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Binay is working away from the top position though.

Binay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Binay throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Binay not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

West is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Binay pulls his head out easily.
West is looking to control Binay's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can West avoid being mounted?
West tries to roll over but Binay keeps him under control.
Binay is controlling the pace.

Binay seems to be working for a kimura but West defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
West wants to get back to his feet.
Binay not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Binay prevents West from improving his position.
West is not content to let Binay control the position.
Binay tries to pass the half guard into mount. West knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Binay is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for West!
West wants to hold on but Binay pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Binay throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
West tries to reverse the position but Binay maintains control.
Binay sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Binay takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Easton West will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


West throws out a leg kick but Binay moves out of range and West only half commits.
West has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

West takes the fight into the clinch.
Binay lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like Easton West has been cut.

Binay wants the takedown. West is fighting it off but Binay persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in West's guard against the cage.
Binay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Binay wants to control from the top but West keeps moving.
Binay throwing strikes from guard but West blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Binay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

West is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Binay is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Binay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Binay thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

West has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Binay doesn't defend quickly enough and West has managed to lock this one up! Can Binay escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to West on a fantastic submission victory.
