Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Roddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nissan Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roddy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fairtex to score with a decent uppercut.

Fairtex closes the distance and pushes Roddy back into the cage.
Roddy has a couple of punches blocked by Fairtex.
Roddy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

A nice right hand lands inside from Fairtex.
Roddy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Roddy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fairtex has him pressed against the cage.
Fairtex lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fairtex misses with a short punch on the inside.
Roddy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Roddy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Roddy throws a head punch that misses.
Roddy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fairtex has him pressed against the cage.
Fairtex lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Roddy to his knees! Fairtex keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
