Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bill Brasky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Angel Torres! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brasky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torres. Torres darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Brasky wants to improve his position but Torres is controlling well.
Torres is trying to control the action in half guard but Brasky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Brasky is looking to control Torres's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brasky avoid being mounted? Torres is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Torres is thwarting Brasky's attempts to control the position. Torres is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brasky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Torres seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Torres is pressing down on Brasky's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brasky is holding on for now.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brasky with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Torres looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Torres missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Brasky looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Torres sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brasky defending well though. Torres is working away from the top position though. Torres trying to mount his opponent but Brasky defends it. Brasky wants to control but Torres is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres works his foot free and advances to mount. Brasky is desperately trying to improve his position but Torres has a good base and remains in mount. Brasky sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Brasky is trying to control but can't.

Torres wants to take a breather but Brasky is having none of it. Torres missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Angel Torres hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Torres cracks Brasky with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brasky looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Torres finish him?
Brasky is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brasky walks straight into a right hand from Torres - that's dropped him! Torres jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Brasky from any more punishment! Brasky complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Angel Torres!
