Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kirovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abel Vasquez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abel Vasquez!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Alex Kirovski has been cut.
Kirovski keeps the fight on the outside.
Kirovski tries to clinch up but Vasquez circles away and keeps his distance.
Kirovski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Vasquez!
Vasquez felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Kirovski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Vasquez tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Vasquez has left one of his arms exposed and Kirovski doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Vasquez screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
