The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boshoff misses with the combination.
Doyle swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Doyle moves out of range as Boshoff throws a body kick.
No joy there for Boshoff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Doyle avoids the head kick by Boshoff.
Boshoff doesn't manage to clinch there - Doyle circles away.
Boshoff scoring well with a low kick there.
Doyle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boshoff throws a right and a left that Doyle avoids nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Doyle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Doyle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Doyle decides to stand back up. Doyle steps back and let's Boshoff get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Doyle will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Boshoff misses with a takedown attempt - Doyle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boshoff tries to pull guard but Doyle forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Boshoff connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Doyle misses with a wild body shot.
Boshoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doyle tries to avoid it but Boshoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doyle to the ground. Doyle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boshoff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doyle walks away with a smile on his face. Boshoff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Boshoff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doyle's waist but Doyle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boshoff off to one side.

Boshoff shoots in for a takedown but Doyle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
