The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhonstone shoots in but Aurelio avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sloppy strikes from Aurelio. Those never looked like landing.

Aurelio pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jhonstone back to the cage. Aurelio follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Jhonstone manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aurelio on his heels. He'll look to pass Aurelio's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aurelio has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jhonstone has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Aurelio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Aurelio has Jhonstone pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Jhonstone is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Aurelio - that's hurt Jhonstone badly! Oh, another knee lands and Jhonstone is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Jhonstone doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Marcos Aurelio!
Marcos Aurelio really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that FFN Vegas-Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
