The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruttz feints and as Dich raises his hands in defense, Bruttz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bruttz lands a couple of elbows.
Bruttz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bruttz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bruttz lands a couple of digs.
Dich utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dich working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bruttz.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dich avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bruttz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bruttz distracts Dich with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bruttz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bruttz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bruttz's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Dich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bruttz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bruttz pushes down on Dich's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bruttz slips a nice elbow through Dich's hands, connecting with Dich's forehead.

Bruttz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dich with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bruttz lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bruttz working over Dich with some ground and pound. Dich looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Dich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dich is in trouble now - Bruttz has advanced to mount!
Bruttz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Bruttz is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Dich goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Bruttz!
