Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barret Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelin has chosen Hearts on Fire by the Balboa as his entrance music. The key to victory for Jacky Chan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacky Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Barret Karelin! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan is looking to clinch. Chan tries to clinch there but Karelin circles away.
Chan tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Karelin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chan tries to clinch but Karelin is having none of it. Chan tries to clinch up so Karelin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Chan wants to stand but Karelin is controlling the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Karelin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chan is looking to stand up but Karelin isn't so interested in that idea. Chan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Karelin throws a big right hand that misses. Chan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karelin on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karelin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Chan being controlled here, momentarily. Karelin passes Chan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Karelin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Chan is in trouble now - Karelin has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karelin looking to control and managing it successfully. Karelin quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Karelin but it's paid off an Chan is forced to tap! Nice work by Karelin.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Barret Karelin! Jumping up and down and very excited, Barret Karelin waved his t-shirt featuring KAISER's logo in front of the cameras.
