PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Cochran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir PubBull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sir PubBull told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cochran scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
PubBull shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cochran but Cochran pushes him off and we're back to square one.
PubBull throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cochran counters by clinching up.

Cochran manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cochran working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from PubBull.
PubBull passes into half guard.
Cochran is refusing to be controlled, as PubBull sits in half guard.
PubBull passes to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cochran tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cochran takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Victor Cochran's cut is getting worse.

PubBull decides to stand back up. PubBull steps back and let's Cochran get back to his feet.
Cochran tries for a takedown but PubBull sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

PubBull clinches up against the cage.

Cochran manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Cochran is wriggling around but PubBull manages to pass to half guard.
PubBull blocks the strikes from Cochran.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
PubBull wants to take a breather but Cochran is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

PubBull seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cochran is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
