Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Crackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitri Krakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Crackman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimitri Krakov! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krakov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Krakov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Crackman is trying desperately to improve position. Krakov wants to control the pace but Crackman is squirming around nicely. Crackman tries to hold on but Krakov postures up. Crackman is looking to get to half guard. Crackman is working hard here to advance position. Crackman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Krakov prevents Crackman from getting the reversal. Krakov controlling from the full mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Krakov thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Crackman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Krakov. Krakov gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Krakov gets the takedown into side control.

Crackman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crackman is trying to control Krakov's posture but Krakov avoids it. Crackman tries to buck Krakov off but Krakov is having none of it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Crackman tries to improve position but can't.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Krakov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Crackman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Crackman fails with the takedown and Krakov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Krakov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Krakov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crackman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Crackman is trying to control the position but Krakov postures up. Krakov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Krakov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crackman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Krakov looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Krakov wants to work for an arm triangle but Crackman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Krakov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Krakov lands in his opponent's guard. Crackman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Krakov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krakov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Krakov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krakov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Krakov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Crackman keeping full guard, as Krakov tries to pass. Crackman is really struggling to control Krakov but he's trying to hold on to the position. Crackman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Crackman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Krakov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Krakov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Crackman to his feet. A shot to de liver by Crackman. Beautiful body shot. Crackman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Crackman cracks a nice hook into Krakov's ribs. Krakov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Crackman tries to clinch but Krakov moves away and Krakov counters by moving into the clinch. Crackman tries to stall but Krakov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crackman tries to lock up and control but Krakov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
